Teak Legs
Teak is approved and forested under the SVLK – Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu (Indoneasia’s timber legality assurance system) certification system. Teak is a hardwood that is ideal for outdoor use due to its high oil content. Our teak material is grade A, meaning it is the best quality and characterised by the close grain and the warm honey golden-brown colour.

Maintence & Cleaning
To maintain the golden color of your furniture, it's essential to apply teak sealant before use and regularly thereafter. The frequency of treatment depends on the climate and whether the furniture is placed in a sheltered position, such as under a roof. Typically, teak table tops should be cleaned and treated at least a couple of times a year.
If your teak furniture develops a silvery-grey or black surface, you can restore it by cleaning it with a recommended teak cleaner. After cleaning and thoroughly rinsing with water, allow the furniture to dry completely before applying teak sealant. In case the furniture has been exposed to the elements for an extended period and developed patina, consider sanding it down before cleaning and treatment.
For daily cleaning, use a moist cloth with water and washing-up liquid. Alternatively, you can apply a soap flake solution to saturate the wood, making the furniture less susceptible to staining. A lukewarm cloth or a soft sponge can also be used for cleaning your teak furniture.
Storing
To ensure maximum protection and facilitate spring cleaning, consider the following methods for properly storing your furniture during autumn and winter:

- Alternatively, you can leave it outside under a furniture cover. However, be cautious of potential condensation formation, which can lead to mold and mildew. To avoid this, remember to lift the cover away from the furniture, allowing proper air circulation and minimizing condensation.
